Due to unforeseen circumstances Purfleet Library and Hub are closed on Tuesday 23 December

On Wednesday 31 December all libraries/hubs will close at 1pm

All libraries/hubs will be closed on Thursday 1 January 2026

Normal opening times for libraries resume from Friday 2 January with the exception of Aveley Library and hub which reopens on Monday 5 January
