ThurrockView - Geographic Information System (GIS)

Our interactive service is based on high quality Ordnance Survey maps. You can zoom in to a scale of 1:500, or out as far as 1:200000. On any map, you can pinpoint a location directly, or alternatively search for a location by post code.

Our 'Find The Nearest' service will list the nearest schools, health services, amenities, transportation, and much more. You can display these by selecting 'layers' of information to overlay the maps, including aerial photographs.

NOTE: these GIS maps require JavaScript to be enabled within your browser. An accessibility alternative that does not use JavaScript is also available.

Simple Street Maps

Link to 'static' streets maps start page.

Our simple 'static' Thurrock Street Maps are also accessible online. These maps present Thurrock in a series of 120 tile images. From each tile it is possible to navigate north, south, east and west within the boundaries of Thurrock, but it is not possible to zoom in/out or to search for specific addresses or locations.

Users of some assistive technologies may find it easier to access these maps.
