I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information.

On EYFS funding:

1. What was the hourly rate given to Early Years providers for:

a. Children aged under 2

b. Children aged 2

c. Children aged 3 and 4

in these academic years: 2019/20, 2020/21, 2021/22, 2022/23, 2023/24

On EYFS provision:

2. In line with your statutory requirement to audit childcare sufficiency, are there currently enough EYFS places in your county to cover:

a. All children aged under 2 entitled to 15 hours

b. All children aged 2 to 4 years old entitled to 15 hours

c. All children children aged 3 and 4 entitled to 30 hours

3. From September 2024, will there be enough EYFS places in your county to cover:

a. All children aged nine months old to four years old entitled to 15 hours

b. All children children aged 3 and 4 entitled to 30 hours

4. From September 2025, will there be enough EYFS places in your county to cover all children aged nine months old to four years old entitled to 30 hours
