NATIS

Request:

I have tried to find this information out via the main www.natis.police.uk website but I could not locate it. If it is on the site then, firstly, I apologise, and secondly, could you please provide a link to the relevant page and guidance as to where on the page it is located, as some pages no longer seem to be available.

This has prompted some questions.

I believe that NATIS has some social media presence.

There is an account, identifying itself as NATIS on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, and, Facebook.

The X account was referenced on the NATIS website for some time but, recently, the link has been removed.

The questions relating to these social media accounts are as follows:

1. Which of the social media accounts listed above are currently 'official' NATIS social media accounts? (please take official to mean that they have been activated, operated, run or managed by staff working for NATIS or Thurrock Council),
2. Which of the social media accounts listed above have been ‘official’ accounts in the past?
3. Please can you provide a copy of any policy document or guide as to how posts on these sites or pictures on these sites are approved?

I also have some questions relating to the NATIS website itself. The NATIS site has changed in the last 12 months (1 March 2023 to 29 February 2024).

4. Please provide the date for when the page relating to ‘Organised Crime’ was delisted / removed from the home page.
5. Please provide the date for when the page relating to ‘vacancies’ was delisted / removed from the home page.
6. Please provide the date for when the page relating to ‘news’ was delisted / removed from the home page.
7. Please provide the date for when the ‘home page’ was updated to remove the ‘Follow us on twitter’ section.
8. Please provide the date for when the ‘home page’ was updated to remove the image of the Police Officer, in uniform, who is in public facing away from the camera, wearing a high visibility jacket with the word ‘Police’ on it.
