1. How many households living in temporary accommodation in December 2023 were ineligible/disqualified to bid for permanent housing because of rent arrears?

2. How many households identified in question 1 include at least one child under the age of 18 years old?

3. How many households identified in question 1 include at least one child who is 2 years-old or under?

4. How many households living in temporary accommodation in December 2023 were re-banded/deprioritised for permanent housing because of rent arrears?

5. How many households identified in question 4 include at least one child under the age of 18 years old?

6. How many households identified in question 4 include at least one child who is 2 years-old or under?

Response: 

1. We have not disqualified or found anyone ineligible to bid if they have rent arrears living in temporary accommodation. Our policy allows them to join the housing register and place bids.

4. None. We have not re-banded or de-prioritised those with rent arrears living in temporary accommodation. However, by not addressing those rent arrears, this will likely impact on an offer being made, but we have not removed a banding or de-prioritised an applicant for having rent arrears.
