What the Council Tax Increase Covers

In respect of the council tax increase, I would like to know what this actually covers, because it seems that the bin collections will suffer, along with having to pay for a brown bin to be emptied, on a yearly subscription, which will be most unpopular and definitely encourage 'fly tipping'.

I have also written to the commissioners regarding this and still await their reply too, but if you could list what the council tax is being used for, that would be brilliant and I'm sure there will be many of us asking the same question.

Please see below the link to the published budget report which was agreed at February full council. Council tax is just one of the funding streams and isn’t linked to specific services but supports the overall delivery of services for the council.
