You might have seen the special D-Day Start Thurrock bus, wrapped with the winning entries from the recent Thurrock Museum D-Day art competition around Thurrock.
The bus is on the 44, 73 and 83 routes, driving from Lakeside to Grays, Tilbury and Chadwell St Mary and is part of our D-Day 80th anniversary commemorations.
The bus was made possible by Start Thurrock, a 'Creative People and Places' programme. Start Thurrock is funded by Arts Council England, working in partnership with the people of Thurrock, to help residents choose, produce and take part in arts and cultural experiences across the borough.
