Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

Temporary prohibition or restriction on roads

Belhus ward no.1

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as "the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, intends to make the above named Order (“the Proposed Order”).

2) The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a Disabled Badge Holders Parking Bay at the location(s) specified below.

Cruick Avenue:

  • in the northeast corner of the car park for Cruick Avenue, from a point 2m north of the north property boundary wall of 148 Cruick Avenue in a north direction for 6m then in a west direction for distance of 2.4m

Daiglen Drive:

  • on the west side of Daiglen Drive from a point 16.2m north of the common boundary of 37/39 Daiglen Drive in a north direction on the footway for a distance of 6.6m

3) A copy of the Proposed Order together with the plans can be viewed on Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices. Alternatively, the proposals can be viewed by appointment during normal office hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm) by emailing the Transport Delivery team at troconsultations@thurrock.gov.uk – those unable to email can phone 01375 652 652.

4) Any objection to the proposed order must be made in writing, giving the grounds on which it is made and sent to the following address Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, RM17 6SL or sent via email to troconsultations@thurrock.gov.uk to arrive on or before 19th September 2024. Any objection may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
