Temporary Prohibition or Restriction of Traffic
East Tilbury No.2 - No Waiting At Any Time
1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers under sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as “the 1984 Act”) and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, hereby gives notice that they have made the above order on 20th February 2025, the order will come into force on the 13th March 2025.
- The general effect of the Order would be:
- To revoke existing waiting restriction “No Waiting Mon-Sat 7am-6pm” at the following locations:

- On the western side of Princess Margaret Road, from the northern kerb line of Bata Avenue in a northern direction for a distance of 16m
- On the western side of Princess Margaret Road, from the southern kerb line of Bata Avenue in a southern direction for a distance of 24m
- On the western side of Princess Margaret Road, from a point 10m north of the northern kerb line of the north access to Thames Industrial in a northern direction for a distance of 8m

b) To introduce new waiting restrictions “No Waiting At Any Time” at the following locations:

- On the western side of Princess Margaret Road, from the northern kerb line of Bata Avenue in a northern direction for a distance of 16m
- On the western side of Princess Margaret Road, from the southern kerb line of Bata Avenue in a southern direction to a point 10m north of the northern kerb line of the north access to Thames Industrial.

- On the northwest side of Coronation Avenue, from the eastern boundary wall of No.6 Lawns Court in a northerly direction to the common boundary of No7/8
- On the southeast side of Coronation Avenue, from a point opposite the eastern boundary wall of No.6 Lawns Court in a northerly direction to a point opposite the common boundary of No7/8
3) A copy of the Made Order together with the plans can be viewed on Thurrock Council’s website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices. Alternatively they can be viewed by appointment during normal office hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm) by contacting the Transport Delivery Team via troconsultations@thurrock.gov.uk. 4) Any person wishing to object to the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirements of the Act has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of on which the order is made apply for the purpose to the High Court.
