Temporary Prohibition or Restriction of Traffic
Elm Road and Maple Road, Grays - No waiting Mon-Fri 8am-9am and 3pm-4pm
1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers under sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as “the 1984 Act”) and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, hereby gives notice that they have made the above order on the 20th February 2025, the order will come in to force on the 13th March 2025.
2) The general effect of the Order would be to introduce new waiting restrictions “No Waiting Mon-Fri 8am-9am and 3pm-4pm” at the following locations;-

- On the southern side of Elm Road and the eastern side of Maple Road. From the eastern property wall of No. 98 Elm Road in an easterly then northerly direction to the common boundary of 43 and 45 Maple Road.

3) A copy of the Made Order together with the plans can be viewed on Thurrock Council’s website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices. Alternatively they can be viewed by appointment during normal office hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm), by contacting the Transport Delivery Team via troconsultations@thurrock.gov.uk. 4) Any person wishing to object to the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirements of the Act has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of on which the order is made apply for the purpose to the High Court.
