Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

No waiting at any time

Harty Close, Stifford Clays no.2

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers under sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as "the 1984 Act") and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, intends to make the above named Order ("the Proposed Order").

2) The general effect of the Order would be to introduce new waiting restrictions "No Waiting At Any Time" at the following locations:

i. on the west side of Harty Close from a point 17m north of the north property boundary wall of 4 Harty Close following the kerb line in a north direction for a distance of 10m
ii. on the west side of Harty Close from a point 2m north of the north property boundary wall of 4 Harty Close following the kerb line in a north direction for a distance of 10m

3) A copy of the Proposed Order together with the plans can be viewed on Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices. Alternatively the proposals can be viewed by appointment during normal office hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm) by emailing the Transport Delivery team at troconsultations@thurrock.gov.uk – those who are not able to use email can phone 01375 652 652.

4) Any objection to the Proposed Order must be made in writing, giving the grounds on which it is made and posted to Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, RM17 6SL or emailed to troconsultations@thurrock.gov.uk, to arrive on or before 2 September 2024. Any objection may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
