On-street Parking and Waiting Restrictions Order 2005 (as amended)
High View Avenue & Springfield Road, Grays - Disabled Badge Holders Parking Bay
1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers under sections 1, 2, 4 32, 35 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as “the 1984 Act”) and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, intends to make the above named Order (“the Proposed Order”).
2) The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a “Disabled Badge Holders Parking Bay” at the location specified below: -
- On the northern side of High View Avenue, from the eastern boundary property wall of 67 High View Avenue following the kerb line in a westerly direction for a distance of 6.6 m.
- On the eastern side of Springfield Road, from the southern property wall of 60 Springfield Road following the kerb line in a southerly direction for a distance of 6.6 m.
3) A copy of the Proposed Order together with the plans can be viewed on Thurrock Council’s website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices. Alternatively the proposals can be viewed by appointment during normal office hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm) by contacting the Transport Delivery Team via troconsultations@thurrock.gov.uk. 4) Any objection to the Proposed Order must be made in writing, giving the grounds on which it is made and sent to the following address Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, RM17 6SL or sent via email to troconsultations@thurrock.gov.uk to arrive on or before 20th March 2025. Any objection may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
