Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

No waiting at any time

Mary Rose Close, Chafford Hundred

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as "the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, intends to make the above named Order ("the Proposed Order").

2) The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a new waiting restriction "No Waiting At Any Time" at the following locations:

i. at the junction outside 56 to 58 and 3 to 5 Mary Rose Close
ii. at the junction outside and opposite 16 Mary Rose Close
iii. at the junction opposite 18 and 44 Mary Rose Close
iv. at the junction opposite 46 to 51 Mary Rose Close
v. at the junction opposite 54 and 55 Mary Rose Close

3) A copy of the Proposed Order together with the plans can be viewed on Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices. Alternatively the proposals can be viewed by appointment during normal office hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm) by contacting the Transport Delivery team via troconsultations@thurrock.gov.uk – those who are unable to email can phone 01375 652 652.

4) Any objection to the proposed order must be made in writing, giving the grounds on which it is made and sent to the following address Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, RM17 6SL or sent via email to troconsultations@thurrock.gov.uk to arrive on or before 17 October 2024. Any objection may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
