Public notice

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers under sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as "the 1984 Act") and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, hereby gives notice that they have made the above order on 16 August 2024 the order will come in to force on 13 September 2024.

2) The general effect of the Order would be to introduce new waiting restrictions "No Waiting At Any Time" at the following locations:

i. on the south side of Parsonage Road from a point 14 m east of the west property wall of the flats 242-258 Parsonage Road in an east direction, then a north direction along the kerb line for a distance of 8m

3) A copy of the Made Order together with the plans can be viewed on Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices. Alternatively the proposals can be viewed by appointment during normal office hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm) by emailing the Transport Delivery team at troconsultations@thurrock.gov.uk – those who are unable to use email can phone 01375 652 652.

4) Any person wishing to object to the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirements of the Act has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of on which the order is made apply for the purpose to the High Court.
