Have your say on planning applications

You can make comments on individual planning applications. We will use our discretion and take into account any comments received up until we prepare our recommendation report.

Most planning applications are delegated for decision by our planning officers. Larger, more complex applications are considered by the Planning Committee. An application that is initially delegated to a planning officer may later be referred to Planning Committee if it is 'called in' by a councillor.

You can speak at the meetings of the Planning Committee before members of the committee take their decision. You must make your request to speak no later than midday, 2 working days before the meeting. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.
