Complaints about councillors
You can complain about a councillor who you believe has not followed the code of conduct.
When you make a complaint, you should:
- say which councillor you are complaining about
- say which code of conduct standard you believe has been breached – for details, go to standards of conduct you can expect
- say why you think they broke the code of conduct
- tell us the result you are looking for
- include as much information as possible to support your complaint
If you wish to complain about a councillor, please use the form below. Your complaint will be sent to the council's Monitoring Officer – the officer responsible for the legal governance of the council.
